A Professional Evaluation, Not Just Data

Polygraph test result report

Polygraph test results. At Polygraph India, polygraph results are not machine-generated outputs. They are derived from a structured, professional evaluation conducted by a certified forensic psycho-physiologist. Our polygraph examiners rely on scientific protocols, psychological insight, and thorough analysis to deliver clear and defensible results in the form of a formal report.

Possible Test Outcomes

Each test concludes with one of the following results, depending on the examinee’s physiological responses and the examiner’s professional interpretation:

  • Deception Indicated (DI): The examinee’s responses are consistent with deception regarding the central issue of the examination.
  • No Deception Indicated (NDI): The responses support the conclusion that the examinee was truthful.
  • Inconclusive: The physiological data is insufficient or contradictory, preventing a definitive conclusion.
  • No Opinion: This occurs in cases where the examinee does not cooperate, fails to follow instructions, or shows poor physiological reactivity, making it impossible to reach a reliable outcome.

Report Content and Structure

The official report issued by Polygraph India is a written document summarizing the test. It includes:

  • The examinee’s identifying information
  • A description of the issue under investigation
  • The examinee’s statement provided during the pre-test interview
  • A list of the exact questions asked during the test
  • The examiner’s final result and professional opinion

What the Report Excludes

The report does not contain polygraph charts, raw data, or audio recordings. These elements are used exclusively by the examiner to form their conclusion and are not shared. This ensures the report remains focused, factual, and relevant to the decision-making process without exposing sensitive measurement materials.

Confidentiality and Ethics

Every report is handled with the utmost confidentiality. Results are shared only with individuals authorized by the examinee, or in accordance with applicable laws. Polygraph India upholds strict ethical guidelines to ensure fairness, neutrality, and integrity in every test administered. The reports are sent through a proprietary system to ensure that the traceability is secure and assured.
